Painting is one of the easier things to do to update a space. Whether you paint a single wall or a whole room, your paint selection can transform the feel of a room. Every year top paint brands release their color picks for the year. Last year's picks showcased many shades of blue. This year's list includes a variety of several bold colors, many showcasing purple hues. Which color on the list do you like best? Sherwin-Williams: Clove Sue Wadden, Director of Color Marketing at Sherwin-Williams, opted to showcase 9 shades, calling them their "Color Capsule of the Year". One shade, Clove, is a deep brown that is nearly black and is a great contrast when paired with lighter neutrals to add warmth to a room.
