Minimize the fumes - For every gallon of paint mix in a tablespoon of vanilla extract to mask the strong fumes. - Keep your room well ventilated. - Buy low odor paint whenever possible. For an easy clean up - Cover the paint tray with aluminum foil. Easily remove the foil, ball it up, and throw it away - no more cleaning paint trays! - Cut squares out of cardboard and attach them to the corners of your drop cloth. This makes folding the cloth or moving the cloth faster and easier. Tape hacks - Remove tape with the help of a blow dryer.
